FYI, this Saturday at 1:00 at Lincoln Park, the Alameda High Hornets baseball team plays its quarterfinal playoff game against Arroyo High. (On Wednesday, league champion AHS defeated Pinole in the first round of the playoffs in a thrilling come from behind, extra-inning epic.)

The Hornets have reached the North Coast Section Championship game for the past two seasons (winning in 2006 and coming in second in 2007) and a have a great team again this year!

Playoff games are always exciting. Check it out if you can. I think admission is $8 for adults and $5 for kids.
