If they close them bridges, you better believe that ALL development STOPS. Ain't nothing gonna happen at Alameda Point or anywhere. Developers will drop this island like a lead balloon. Local political suicide! If the trucks can't come, then the shopping centers will close. People can't get to work, they be movin' away. If they shut the bridges they shut down the island. Might as well turn the whole place into a wildlife preserve and charge admission! Folks got too much business happening here for any of that to be a real threat. Yo, this is so dumb.
